This past weekend Mommy, Daddy and I went to KC to visit one of Mommy's friends. We also got to see Ben Daddy's friend while we were there. We had a super fun time. I got to play with my friend Brady. He is 2 weeks older than me, but I am just as big as him. We took a bath together and I found something weird that I do not have;) Our Mommy's took us shopping and we all went to an easter egg hunt. I did a good job finding the eggs and I loved eating the jelly beans. Mommy liked eating the candy too! Here are some fun pictures from our trip!

Last week my babysitter went on vacation, so I spent a lot of time with Grandma Gigi. Monday adn Tuesday I went to my cousin Joey's house to get babysat, because Grandma Gigi was already watching Joey. She did a great job, but I think we wore her out:) Then I headed off to Fort Dodge for the rest of the week. I didn't get to see my mom and dad for 3 days! I thougt they deserted me, but then my mommy showed up to pick me up. We stayed in Fort Dodge for a couple more days. I got to see all my little friends. It was sooooo fun. Mommy got to see her friends too. Some she hadn't seen for months! She was very happy. Here are a couple pictures from the weekend. Mommy has a hard time getting good pictures of me because I am always running away! I am great at walking now. Oh, one more thing I went #2 on the potty AGAIN!

Daddy's 30th Birtday

This weekend was my daddy's birthday. He turned the big 30!! Mommy had a party for him and Uncle Matt who also turned 30 this weekend. Then we celebrated at MeMe and Papa's house last night. Nixon and Noah came over to help celebrate too. It was also Madison 9th birthday, so she got a cake too!

So Sick

I have been pretty sick lately! It is weird, everytime I get teeth I get sick. Mommy and Daddy had to take turns staying home with me last week because I had a fever. Mommy tried to get me to watch a movie, but I get bored after about 5 mins. I do like to sleep ALOT when I am sick. Here are some pictures of me when I was sick!

Andee and Emma came to visit this weekend. It was so cool hanging out with the BIG girls. We went out for lunch, shopping and then just played with my toys. Mommy was really happy to get to hang out with their mommy. She says she misses her and wishes she would move to Omaha;)

Trip to the park

It was really nice one day last week, so mommy picked me up from Jennifer's house and we went on a walk with Mila and Lexi. We stopped to play at the park. I love to swing. I was laughing my head off! Here are a couple pictures!

Now that I know how to walk Daddy is already putting me to work. I make such a mess when I eat dinner Daddy wanted me to help clean up after myself. Jeese, my parents have high expectations! Potty at 12 month vacumming at 13 months:)

Well, I have been able to take a few steps for a couple weeks now, but just last night I started walking all around the living room. Mommy says I still look like Daddy after a long night, whatever that means. I am finally getting really comfortable on my two feet. Mommy took some footage of me walking last night. Hope you enjoy.

Potty

So, I might not be able to walk or talk, but I can go potty on the potty! Last night mommy sat me down on my potty and guess what I went! Mommy was freaking out!!!! Here is a picture of my potty. I am such a BIG girl:)

Joey!

Today my cousin Joey got Baptised. He is sooooo cute. He smiles all the time and I think he is already almost as tall as me. Mommy and Daddy are his Godparents, so during church they had to go watch the water get poured on his head. Joey slept through the whole ordeal. If I remember correctly I totally cried. Mommy said I was the only baby that cried. But, can you blame me who wants cold water poured on their head when they have absolutly no idea what is going on. I know I would be way better now. Ecspecially now that I am 1.

Other news....

Now that I am 1 mommy tries to trick me and put milk in my bottle. She can not fool me and I absolutly will not drink that stuff when I am expecting delicious formula. I still use my bink from time to time, but mostly just to keep me entertained at the gym daycare or in church. I love to cuddle with my blanket when I sleep. I think I am going through a growth spert, because I get super tired at 6:30pm. I just can not stay up late anymore;) I am not walking yet. I would rather crawl. You know I am good at it and walking in darn hard and takes lots of concentration. I know how to say a couple words. Sometime I try to repeat people, but I am not sure they know what I am saying. Talking is hard too. My favorite words to say are Dadadadad and mamamamama. I also know how to say uuuooo. I am not sure how to spell that:) I say is when I throw my sippy cup on the floor.

My Birthday Party

I had my 1st birthday party last Sunday. It was super fun. A whole bunch of our family and friends got together. We had dinner, I choked on a wheat thin and mommy and daddy had to rescue me. Mommy gave me a couple blows to the back, but daddy's final hit sent the wheat thin flying. It is hard to chew with only 4 teeth. I do pretty good, but crackers and chips are hard. Mommy said I do not get them ANYMORE! At least until I grow um what are they called Molers??? After the choking incident I went on to opening lots of outstanding presents. Cool toys and pretty clothes. My favorite toy to play with is the piggy bank my friends Emma and Andee got me. I am getting soooooo good at putting the pennies in. Sometimes when I am tired I try to play with the piggy bank and those silly little pennies just will not go in. Then I get upset and hit the pennies on the bank and proceed to throw the pennies:( Anyway, moving on with the party. After presents, all the guest sang Happy Birthday to me and my mommy put this weird hat on me. I perfer the tiara, but I guess she thought the hat was funny, as you can see in the picture I am not humored. After the song the best thing happend, I got to eat a mini cake just for me. Grandma Gigi made me a pretty princess cake! I loved it! After cake, I was exhausted. I spent some time with MeMe and Papa because they have been out of town for awhile. After that the party was over and I was off to bed! THE END!

Summersaulting

Recently I learned to do summersaults. I will summersault anywhere. However, when I was trying to perform one of my summersaults at the dance competition mommy went to push my bottom over a little too soon and I got a rug burn on my eye! Whoops. I am now taking a break from summersaults just until my eye heals. Then I will be back at it!

Birthday!

BIRTHDAY GIRL!

Well, I turned one on January 31st. This was a pretty cool day! I got to wear this beautiful tutu and cute princess shirt Aunt Mila got me. It said birthday princess on the back! Grandma Gigi let me have breakfast in bed and I got to eat a whole cup cake at dinner! I love birthdays!

Magic Kingdom

Look at me!! I am at the Magic Kingdom! I love Disney World. It is very Magical:) I went on a couple rides including It's a Small World and Peter Pan. I love the music and all the beautiful colors!

Trip to Florida!

Mommy, Grandma Gigi, Aunt Mila and I all went to Florida last weekend for Dance Team Nationals. We had sooooooo much fun. The dance team did great too! Mommy said their goal was to make it to finals in both dances and that they did! Way to go girls! Here are some pictures from our trip.

Oh yeah, I turned one when we were in Florida, so Mommy has pictures of my first birthday too. Mommy said we are going to have a party this weekend so daddy can be in on the fun. I can not wait!!

Happy 29th Birthday Mommy

It is my mommy's 29th birthday today. Daddy and I made this really cool sign and hung it on the garage door this morning. When mommy left to go to the gym she put the garage door downa and there it was. She thought it was sooooooo cute!

Auntie Mila's Birthday

My Aunt Mila turned the big 21 last weekend. She gets to drink Mommy and Daddy drinks now. Grandma GiGi and Grandpa Pat came to town and everyone went out to celebrate. I got a babysitter, but it was fun because Andee and Emma where visiting too.

Bagel Bin

Auntie Mila has mommy's cord for her camera, so Mommy has not been able to update the blog. She finally decided to bring her camera to school and update there. So, a lot has happened in the past couple weeks.

First, Mommy and I's favorite breakfast place in the Bagel Bin. We go there every chance we get. I used to just sit and watch mommy eat, but now that I grew 4 teeth in the past month and a half I get bagels too. I LOVE them. Here is a picture of me eating a bagel!

Florida

We are having so much fun in Florida. The weather is great. 78 and sunny. I love it here! I was still feeling a little under the weather, and I am getting my 2 front teeth. Mommy and Daddy feel really bad for me. I have been really well behaved considering I don't feel that well. We met this really nice man named Joe. He is MeMe and Papa's friend. He hangs out with us at the pool and watched the sunset. He also comes up to our condo for dinner every night. I love waving to him. He calls me SWEETHART, in his eastcoast accent. MeMe and Papa's friends Sherry and Greg from New Jersey came to stay for a couple nights too. They have three little kids, Gregory, Leo and Vivian. Vivian is only one month younger than me. It is fun hanging out with her! Check out some of these pictures. I didn't like the sand the other day, but now I am getting used to it! Ahhhhhh I can not believe Mommy put this picture up.
