Grandma Em's Pancakes

Well I am not sure if many of you all know, but my Mommy told me all about my Grandma Em and her cooking. Mommy made me these delicious pancakes on Sat. morning. Gigi also makes them for me. Originally Mommy said Grandma Em made these pancakes. Mommy said she was the best baker. She made Buns and Rolls all the time for Mommy when she was little. Mommy also told me she made these really delicious Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwiches wrapped in really expensive paper towels. I wish Grandma Gigi would start making those homemade buns for me:) Hint Hint!!! Anyway, here are some pictures of me enjoying my pancakes! Daddy and Mommy liked them too!

Talk Talk Talk

About one year ago today!!!

So... I am getting really smart these days. Mommy says my verbal skills are very advaned. She says I come by it honestly considering the people I am surrounded by. The following list is what I have been saying lately.

Maggie Beauuuuu, Maggie Beauuuu over and over everyday when my Mommy picks me up. Why? I asked Mommy and then naturally Daddy once Mommy said no if I could have some candy and Daddy said no too, so I ask Why? Mommy blew a bubble with her gum the other day and I blurted out "Bubble" not sure where I learned it. Just came out. I can sing the whole first verse to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Barney. Mommy and Daddy are really nice sometimes and they set it to continuous play:) That way I get to watch it over and over. Nice Mom and Dad! "My tutu" "My Baby" "My Peeeese" that was code for candy until she learned to say candy. I woon apple

Halloween was great. I got all dresses up met my neighbors outside, walked around the neighborhood and got tons of candy. All I ate today was a little cream cheese from the bagel bin adn tons and tons of candy. When my Mommy asked be " Delaney what are you doing?" I said. "Eaten Candy" I ate candy all day!! Whawhooooooo! I love Halloween! By the way I was a pumpkin!

Halloween at Daycare

Mommy was not on top of things Friday morning. I guess this is a forshadowing of my future!!! My Halloween outfit was not clean for Friday's Halloween Party at Daycare. So.... I had to wear a makeshift outfit. I looked similar to a clogger!

All better!

I am all better now. Mommy took me back to the doc and he gave me some medicine, so now I am feeling much better. I am back at the babysitter and gearing up for the Halloween weekend! I can not wait to show you all my cute costume. Here is a picture of me feeling better. Mommy thinks it is cute:)

So Sick

I got sick after the marathon, Aunt Mila said I got so nervous for Mommy's race I puked. The 2nd time went in Mommy's mouth! She didn't like it, but she said it was ok because I am her favorite daughter:0) So, we had to cut our trip short and I am still not feeling very well. Mommy took me to the doctor today because I was "like a little oven" this morning! The doctor said there is nothing wrong with me, so I just have to keep taking the yummy medicine until my fever is all gone. The best part about being sick is I do not have to get my hair done or get dressed and I get to watch Barney ALL DAY LONG!!!! I am pretty sure Daddy is sick of Barney!

Kansas City

Last weekend Mommy and I took another road trip. This time we headed to KC so my Mommy could run the KC Marathon. I really wanted to run with Mommy, I mean ride in the stroller, but Mommy said this race is simply to long for me to go with.

We stayed with my friend Brady and Gigi and Grandpa Pat came to help take care of me while Mommy ran. We were all there to cheer Mommy on as she passed the finish line! Mommy let me wear her medal. She said I deserve it because I am such a great training partner!!!

My Fort Dodge Friends

Daddy went to Mexico so Mommy and I took a roadtrip to Fort Dodge! I got to play with my friends on Friday night! Cambree, Andee, Emma and I played for hours while our Mommy's hung out! I love visiting Fort Dodge with my Mommy. Of course I also hung out with Grandpa Pat and Grandma Gigi! I love staying at their house, Gigi has a whole room set up for me!!!

A couple weeks ago we went to the Pumpkin Patch. It was pretty fun. I got to see lots of animals. MeMe and Papa met us there and Mommy and I got to roast marshmellows again. Madison was there too. It is always fun hanging out with her.

Sat. we went to our neighbors farm party. They had a pig roast, a hay-rack ride and a camp fire. It was really fun!

Mommy and Daddy went out Friday night for Gigi's birthday. I stayed home with Lindsay and a few other dance team girls. They love babysitting me. They play with me and then when I go to sleep they watch dance videos to get inspired. Mommy is happy too, because they stay out of trouble.

Grandma Gigi and Grandpa Pat came to town this past weekend and Thursday night Jessica and Baby Joey came over to play and Jessica put on a fashion show using Grandma Gigi's costume collection. I got a little upset because mommy was taking all these picture of Jessica and I wanted to get in on the action, so I put on a clown costume and Mommy dressed up like a clown too.

The Omaha Zoo

Mommy and Daddy watched my cousin Madison on Sat. night. So, we thought it would be a good day to go to the zoo. I really like the zoo. It took me a little while to warm up to the Billy Goats, but after a few minutes I was hugging them! I also saw sea lions, gorillas, weird birds, tigers, lion and tons of other animals. I also got to ride the Zebra on the carusal. I loved it! Here are a few pictures of us at the zoo.

Football Game

Mommy took me to the MN Football game on Friday night. It was Homecoming, so I got to wear my pretty pink tutu with my MN shirt. I had to wear my cowgirl boots, because it was a little rainy. I also had to bring my rain jacket. Mommy thought I looked crazy cute in my outfit:)

September

Mommy just wanted to take my picture this morning because I looked so cute in my new track suit. MeMe and Papa got it for me. It is perfect, because it is Blue for MN. It is homecoming week and tonight Mommy is taking me to the pep-rally. There is going to be a carnival and lots of cool kids there. Mommy's dance team will be dancing and Aunt Jenny's cheerleaders will perform too. I always have fun at the pep-rally. I have my dance team shirt on under my tracksuit, so I am all ready to go:) Hopefully I stay clean today! Daddy said I look really FAST in this outfit! Oh, by the way... I was not standing unattended. Daddy moved away just in time for the picture. Mommy would not let him be in it because he was in his PJs.

Mommy and Daddy took me to the Fall Festival on Sunday. I really wanted to ride the horses, but by the time we made our way to the horses they stopped giving rides:( We did get to go on a tractor ride and I got to eat a corndog and do the cake-walk. Mommy and I played 6 times and never did win a cake. I plan to play the cake-walk at the MN Homecoming carnival tonight! Hopefully I will win a cake:)

Shots

I went to see Dr. Head yesterday. It was all fun and games until the nurses came in! I was having a good old time show Dr. Head my teeth and showing off how I can say "Doctor" Then Dr. Head left and these 2 ladies came in. I laid down on my back Mommy was trying to distract me by singing. Then I felt the first one go right into my chubby little thigh, I gave Mommy a look of despriration and then WAM WAM WAM 4 more!! AHHHHH, I started to cry a little and Mommy sat me up and showed me these really cool bandaids. I forgot all about the shots and told the nurses "tankyou" The nurses told mommy I was the first baby to say thank you for shots! Then Mommy let me have an extra hello kitty bandaid for my arm. All in all it wasn't too bad and now hopefully I am going to stay very healthy!!!

Husker Game

Mommy, Daddy and I went to my friend Nixon and Noah's house for the Husker game on Sat. Mommy got me a Husker jersey to wear. I was really cool, because Nixon and I had matching jerseys. He has #5 and I have #10. We played and then of course our Mommy's made a pose for some pictures:)

Britney Spears

Mommy went to the B-Spears concert with some friends Friday night. I stayed home with Daddy. Daddy decided to take me out to a classy dinner at Wendy's. I was enjoying myself until Daddy would not let me hold my drink! Then....I started to scream and everyone in the place was staring at Daddy. I screamed louder..and louder he still would not give me the drink, so I kept screaming. Daddy got embarrassed, so we had to leave before I could finish eating and then Daddy put me in timeout! It must not have scared Daddy too much, because he took me to the doughnut professor the next morning. Things went a lot better:)

Here are some pictures of Mommy and Aunt Mila at the concert. They got AWESOME seats, right next to the stage! Someday Mommy might take me to a B-Spears concert, but not till I am like 18, because it is not for little girls!

BYE BYE BINKI!

The binki is gone!!! I am such a big girl now I do not need a binki. For some reason I just stopped liking that thing. Mommy kept trying to give it to me on our runs, but I would just throw it out. So, no more! Mommy and Daddy are very proud of me for kicking the habit at such a young age. I heard Mommy sucked her thumb till she was 8!!!!! Weird!

Mommy took me to the first home Mustang Football Game last night. I got to dress up in my tutu and Mommy and I wore our matching dance team shirts. It was sooooo much fun. I danced when the band played and cheered with all the girls! I like waving to Mighty, but when Mommy took me too cloe I got really scared. That horse if BIG!

Daddy was trying to get into the spirit of Christmas a little early this year. He started playing all this Christmas music and I couldn't help but start dancing and of course Mommy felt the need to video tape me. I will she would take video footage before dinner so I still had a shirt on;) This one goes out to MeMe and Grandma Gigi!

So, I am sure you are all wondering what in the world has been going on in my life!!!!! Well, we have been super busy. Since my last post I have flown on a plane to a wedding, went to Okoboji with mommy, daddy and the whole O'Rourke crew and started going to Jennifer's house EVERYDAY! The first couple of days mom dropped me off I was like "Cool" I will play with these kids allll day. But, about the 3rd day in a row I started to get a little sad that my mom just dropped me off everyday all day long! I am starting to get used to it now. I do love it there, but I miss hanging with my mom too;) This coming weekend daddy is going out of town and Mommy and I are going to hand out together. We get to go to a parade and hopefully the swimming pool if it is nice out. Grandma Gigi and Grandpa Pat are going to come visit Friday night. That will be fun. So... here are some pictures to get you all up to speed!
